I’ve always wanted to get a hunting dog, then one day I ran across an ad in the local newspaper for great hunting puppies. I called the guy up and he informed me there were no more dogs left so I thanked him and hung up the phone. About a minute later the phone rang and it was the guy saying there was one dog left but he had medical issues and if I wanted him I could come out and take him for free otherwise he was going to have him put down. So needless to say I jumped in the truck and went to pick up my new pup then off to the vet I went to get him healed up. Moose is now my pride and joy!!

Moose's Accomplishments:  Moose’s first jump was in the summer of 2004 at Redmond Oregon where he only went 3’ on his first try. Then he went 6’ on his second try and took home 3^rd place amateur. I couldn’t have been happier and couldn’t wait till next year jumping. His first event we trained for he got his senior title and hit a 21’6’’ jump! Now Moose I’m proud to say is jumping with some of the best big jumping dogs right here at Cascade Dockdogs and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for my pup!

Goals:   I’ve already reached my goal I set out by hitting over 20’. So now on to the next one! It would be a lot of fun jumping at nationals!

Misc fun Facts: Moose loves his headless duck, and we can never jump with a bumper because he chews the top off in nothing flat. Like one bite I swear haha.
