Dockdogs Names: Forest Grove's Bandana 'Jack' (2/15/06) Chocolate Lab & Forest Grove's Bandana Jill (8/22/07)
Jack Accomplishments: Showed us that he wanted to be a DockDog at 6 months old! In his first major competition at Kirkland June 2007 he qualified for the Pro-Finals with the first leg of his Regional Masters title with personal best of 20’ 8”. At the 2007 Washington County Fair , National DockDog event, he jumped over 23' - three times. He shocked us all. Then came Clark County Fair and Jack blew us away again with jumps of 24'4" and 24'9". He placed 3rd in the Pro Finals behind 2 of his Cascade Dock Dog friends, Rikki and Igor.
Jill Accomplishments: She shows she can go toe to toe with big brother Jack. We're hoping she'll follow in Jacks foot steps. If not, she'll be a great little sister.
Member Accomplishments: Scott owns his own electronic design business (Dutchman Electronics) and Connie works in the High Tech industry. We're proud to be active in raising funds for Chase Away K9 Cancer. We lost our wonderful big boy, Buck (Chocolate Lab), to bone cancer in December 2005.
Goals: Achieve Big Air Master's Title for Jack in his first year of competition (before his second birthday). He surpassed our hopes and brought home an Elite title. And we're giving EV the ole college try!
Misc Facts: Jack came from a litter of 11... All chocolates. He got his speed and intensity from both parents, Lily and Ferris Bueller MH. We also have 2 cats, TC & Ruby who just tolerate Jack's nosiness. Jack’s favorite toys (other than his humans, of course) are his “Big Mean Kitty” stuffed animal and then… what else… HIS WUBBA!!! “OK JACK! BRING IT!” (let's get wet that is…J).
