"Soaring" this pretty much describes Chase to a "T"

 To Rise, Fly, or Glide High and with little apparent effort.

 To Climb Swiftly and Powerfully

 To Glide while maintaining altitude

 I could tell you all the longest story about the worst day of my life but that's not how Chase should be remembered.

 She left us yesterday after I took her to Sauvie Island one last time

 for a swim off a dock she has played on for years, it was strange I

 have never seen the water in the Willamette so clear you could see her

 entire body and her legs swimming away.  She had a happy smile on her

 face and her tail was up and she enjoyed play time at the river, the

 cancer was getting her quicker than anyone expected so it was time for us to say good bye. 

My vet did a wonderful job and I held her to the end.  While I was gone Terry wrote Chase this note and I

want to share it with you all, she will never ever be forgotten and will fill our hearts forever

with so many great memories.

 You did it with style and always a smile.

 That upward glance of approval we will never forget, you did good girl, you did good.

 You will Always be Remembered with Great Love for "Being the Best" The

 top of the Class with the Most Class.

 Such pride you have our little girl! To depart at the peak & prime of

 showing everyone everywhere that you are truly one of a kind.

 The Best Companion anywhere, always making who was ever with you,

 especially mom look like the Best Trainer, Handler, Master seem like

 the Greatest of all time.  All along it was mostly you, your want to

 be the Best Team Partner any human could ever possibly have.

 You and Ma, made me (your Pa) the most proud & bragging husband for

 many many years and I will never lose or forget one moment.  Your

 hundreds of pictures, awards & achievements will hang in our walls forever in your memory.

 Thank you for giving us Rikki and all of the other Beautiful puppies

 of yours!!!  They will carry on your Beauty and legacy my very dear

 and incredible little girl.  Once again, Thank you for All of the

 tremendous adventures.  Giving us all of your love and showing us so many new places & new friends.  You have been the Biggest part of our lives as a family.

 So please know that Ma, Smokey, Rikki & Pa will be looking for you and many smiles in the future.
